UWB localization and communication inside an aircraft cabin

As wireless communication devices will likely be allowed in future aircraft cabins ultra wideband techniques such as wireless USB can be used e.g. for in-flight entertainment services.
In addition to enabling high data rate communications, UWB provides some advantages especially in challenging channels, such as its robustness against fading and in principle the tracking of impulses that can be used for localization.
